Dr. Janet Lapp
Born and raised in Montréal Québec, Dr. Janet Lapp was an RN before receiving a PhD with a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at McGill. Following a successful academic career she wrote five books, developed an Emmy-nominated CBS-health series, and has been inducted into the Speakers Hall of Fame.
As a pilot and flight instructor, she literally owes her life to alert air traffic controllers. She has flown her Bonanzas through central and South America, and each month with the Flying Doctors delivers care to the under-served of central México. She is the founder of Mujeres Sanas and Liga Clean Water (www.ligacleanwater.org) helping to eliminate water-borne disease in Sinaloa, México. In her spare time she competes in triathlons and believes we’re never too old, it’s never too late, and nothing is impossible. You just have to find the start line.
