Dr. Paul Foster
Dr. Foster currently works for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Aviation Safety Inspector (Airworthiness – Maintenance) currently assigned as the FAA Safety Team Program Manager. He also teaches for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) as an adjunct professor, and has worked in the aviation industry as an aircraft maintenance technician, manager, and director of maintenance. He received his professional aeronautics degree from ERAU more than 20 years ago and his Master of Aeronautical Science from ERAU in 2006. Dr. Foster earned his Doctorate in 2003.
Dr. Foster has published the findings of his research in several trade and scholarly publications, the most notable being FAA Safety Briefing. He enjoys teaching aviation related course because it keeps him in touch with issues in the field and allows him to interact with other professionals. In his spare time (what there is of it!) he enjoys spending time with his family and researching his family history through genealogical websites.
